Old is new again

Hi Everyone:
If you are a collector like me chances are you have tons of goodies in your stash..
Like me chances are you are saving them for a special lay out or projects.

This year my resolution is to use all my stashes, and to finish all the 7 albums I started.

Being a digital designer has afforded me the luxury to create exactly what I need to finish a project and incorporating a fusion of hybrid.

My dd asked me to create a lo for her using pink only as the colour.

I went thru my stash found an old pink cardstock use bubble wrap and paint to create a textured background. Then outline a shape using pigment ink pen and painted a border using mm paint, I luv the consistency but if it's too heavy use some water to cut it.

then I use an old Basic Grey paper updated it a bit by using a scalloped punch, decorative borders are so hot now..

Stamp the swirls and added stickles to give it more humph. Then I incorporated K&Co Smitten Chipboard.
Heidi swap bling now the papers are not so old anymore :)

The result my dd luv it so much, now she wants a whole album using pink only...Maybe that pink phase will be gone by the time I start eh?

Here's the lo
This her at MGM in Las Vegas

PS don't forget to stop there for more ideas,
Have a great day,
Maggie

Hi Everyone:
Have you guess how many M&M's are in the bottle yet?

Several people are very closed..

Today I got a phone call from my Lss asking if If I can put a Hybrid class together using K&Co.

Have I told you how much I luv their products? I will be a happy girl if they send me every single line:)

Not only do I get to teach but I get a ton of their products as well..

I have some great news, but you will have to come back next week to find out :)

Here's my latest with K & Co and prima

I use one of my shapes that comes in a kit soon to create the shape of the brown paper :)
I also hand cut all the flowers, now that part wasn't fun.

Have a great day,

Maggie

It's cold (39) degrees in Orlando Grrrrr

Hi Everyone:
We went from a nice balmy 71 to 39 overnight and several freeze warnings.

Everytime someone hear me complain they tell me to be quiet, but what they don't understand.
A freeze or cold this low is a death sentence for us here in Florida, not because it's cold we can't go to the beach.

It means my friends to all of us higher prices at the grocery store.

Did you know Florida export, Strawberries, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Blueberries, plants, Orchids, and yes Oranges and Grapefruits. A drop in temp ruins the farmers..

So next time you hear me complain about the weather, commiserate with me , cause you will definitely feel the after effects of a cold wave from here :)

Anyways it supposed to go away by the weekend..
Speaking of weekend did anyone made it to the shaker box?

It's not too late to participate and win some prizes...

I was very active this weekend, not only did I finish 4 paper lo, I got 2 LSS dt lo done ready for their walls. I finished a digital kit, you get a sneak peak on Wednesday..

I also got to try the new stamps by Autumn leaves I received this week..

Here's the two lo I got done Sponsored by K&Co, I gotta tell u I am smitten with the Smitten line :)

Have a bless week,
